BEHOLD, BUT BEHOLD...

1. Behold the Baby in the manger,

Swaddled in a rugged cloth,

Smiling at the shining star,

And the shepherds bowing over.

Behold, but behold,

Knowing well and calling on Him

As the One who made the stars within His frame

And formed your frame within the womb.

Because, if you don't, it's just another worthless act,

And how will you ever have the Life within you,

If you just see Jesus, but never believe Him?

2. Behold the young Man among the crowds,

Walking through the rugged roads,

Taking no heed of His needs,

Healing with compassion and love.

Behold, but behold,

Knowing well and calling on Him

As the One who came from heav'n to quench your thirst

And bear away your earthly cares.

Because, if you don't, it's just another worthless act,

And how will you ever know the Truth that sets free,

If you just see Jesus, but never believe Him?

3. Behold the Man wounded and bruised,

Dying on the rugged cross,

Yet looking with forgiveness,

Upon His taunters and on you.

Behold, but behold,

Knowing well and calling on Him

As the Lamb of God dying instead of you

Bearing on Him, your sin's wages.

Because, if you don't, it's just another worthless act,

And how will you ever take the Way to heaven,

If you just see Jesus, but never believe Him?

4. Behold the King in heav'n so glorious,

Hands still holding scars of nails,

As the marks of love for them,

Who choose to look to Him in faith.

Behold, but behold,

Knowing well and calling on Him

As the One who'll come again to take His own

And reign on earth as King o'er all.

Because, if you don't, it's just another worthless act,

And how will you ever be one of the Redeemed,

If you just see Jesus, but never believe Him?

Trust Me, will you?

 Trust Me, will you?

He asked me," Will these dry bones live?"

I said,"O Lord God, You alone know"

And I saw, with flesh, skin and breath,

Yes, they got on their feet alive.

He asked me,"Will they see a little one?"

I said, "O Lord God, You alone know"

And I heard, "It's the sixth month for her who's called barren"

"Her waiting on the Lord was never in vain".

He asked me, "Can they be cured ever?"

I said, "O Lord God, You alone know"

And I saw the blind see, the lame walk and the deaf hear,

Praising the Lord for their whole, new sphere.

He asked me, "Can he have life again?"

I said, "O Lord God, You alone know"

And I saw the one who's once declared dead,

Now dining at the table by His side.

Then He asked me, "Trust Me, will you?

In your 'not- possible's and all of life's little nuances,

That when we walk together, I can show you wonders,

I've had a plan when I made you a being

I chose You even before you knew Me

I loved you before you did and still do

So, My child, trust Me, will you?"
